General Sherman IPA
Rating:
What did you think of it? Never Tried It
General Sherman has a piney hop aroma with a slightly cloudy, dark golden color and white head with a fair amount of lacing. The flavor is much like the smell with a lot of pine hoppiness on the initial sip and a ton of bitterness in the aftertaste. There are some citrus notes here, some biscuit malt characteristics, but overall this doesn't pull any punches when it comes to delivering overwhelming hop flavors and bitterness.

I found it peachy and delicious. If I read the reviews prior to drinking this fine brew, I may not have picked it up for "piney" would not be my go to.dheliker Aug 20, 2019 at 12:20AM
This was the BOTD nearly 4 years ago. Maybe it's time we give it another try. Could be the recipe has changed over time. This beer sticks in my memory quite clearly though. It's such a bold presentation!Leave a Comment:
