The Alchemist
Crusher
Rating:
What did you think of it? Never Tried It

Crusher is a orangish copper color with a thick white head and haze for days. The aroma pairs an earthy dankness with tropical fruit and pineapple. The flavor packs a hop wallop with a ton of pine and citrus hops with all the juiciness the Northeast is known for. It's a thicker mouthfeel for the style with a smooth creaminess. It has a dry finish that prevents the flavor from lingering too long, opening the door for that next sip. Another amazing IPA from The Alchemist!

Another big beer from the Alchemist in Vermont, Heady is my fav from them, but I'm cozying up to this one. I find the mouthfeel very smooth, creaminess is a good way to describe it. I think it is maltier than Heady, but not as hoppy as the Alchemist's third brew, Focal Banger. No matter how you cut it the Alchemist has a knack for the big East Coast IPA's & DIPA's.jhmiller Dec 13, 2016 at 5:08PM
I couldn't agree more with Beermonk's analysis. My personal favorite is Focal Banger (I posted a comment there as well) as I love the hop flavors, but all 3 are solid!SweeneyWorldWide Dec 31, 2018 at 3:27PM
