Tribute Double IPA
Rating:
What did you think of it? Never Tried It
Tribute is a slightly hazy, dark orange colored IPA of the double variety with two fingers of fluffy white head. The aroma is complex, mixing fruity hops with a maltiness reminiscent of french toast. The flavor starts out very hop-forward with citrus and resinous pine. Quite juicy as you might expect from this region. Then it transitions to a dry, yet sweet bready maltiness in the aftertaste with touches of caramel and maple syrup. A good dose of DIPA bitterness permeates the whole experience, but this one flies under the radar at 8.1%.

Had the opportunity to enjoy this beer at the brewery this past fall, if your a hop-head this ones for you. 14th Star was a pleasent surprise while on vacation in September, if you can get up that way you need to stop in. They are doing some nice brews and Tribute is a great example. The description on BOTD is right on; enjoy this beer however you can, at the brewery or from a can.Leave a Comment:
