Ground Control (1st Edition)
Rating:
What did you think of it? Never Tried It

This one-of-a-kind stout was brewed with yeast that survived a rocket trip into outer space and back! In color, this beer is almost as black as outer space itself. It has a very unique smell with a fair amount of hazelnut flavor and some cocoa nib notes. The aftertaste is sweet and delicious. What would have been a success purely as a space gimmick ended up as a stellar beer based purely on its taste.

This one surprised me - I didn't think it was going to be anything to write home about, but it was a darn good beer. It's sweet, it's flavorful, and it's just an all around solid beer everyone should try. I don't know if it was because my expectations weren't too high and it exceeded those or what, but it lives up to the hype. I've been looking for it all over town, and it's proven to be hard to find! I liked it enough to want to revisit it again, and it certainly has not disappointed - it's out of this world.Leave a Comment:
