What did you think of it? Never Tried It
Penelope Pils is our first beer from Humble Sea Brewing Co. and it gets a high rating from us. The color is golden straw and very clear, with lots of ascending carbonation bubbles and one finger of thick, white, bubbly head. Strong pilsner aroma leading to a taste of pure deliciousness. There’s a lot of pilsner malt, but there’s great balance between earthy, bready malt flavors and the Noble hop flavors. Those hops taste grassy and a bit floral, but really the grassy notes are what stand out. Light body and nicely carbonated with a refreshing mouthfeel. Some lemon and white pepper create a nice bite in the finish. This beer is not only thirst quenching on a hot day, but it has a super enjoyable flavor profile as well.
