Pours as a dark cherry red color with just the slightest amount of head with varied striations. It has an aroma of dried fruit and cogniac. It has a buttery consistency with some butter and vanilla notes. There is a fair amount of fig and some belgian candy flavors. The alcohol is present but is mellowed by the oak barrel aging process.
