Wonderfully hoppy and crystal clear. The way a west coast (double) IPA should be. Hard to get our hands on this beer in Portland. Very limited supply came at the end of 2020. I am planning a beer trip to SF next October to drink from the tap and collect my requisite number of 4 packs. Did my Pliney the Younger pilgrimage to Santa Rosa in 2019, doing the Dank pilgrimage to SF in 2021?PDXDAC Mar 5, 2021 at 6:50PM
This IPA is my favorite IPA of all time.Beautifully clear with a bright citrus-y hop aroma and a luscious mouth feel. Citrus, stone fruit, and a touch of the tropical (Mango? Passion fruit?...) mixing with big resin-y pine on the palate. Powerful finish with the requisite grapefruit notes. A quintessential West Coast IPA!!
