Homestead Cider
Rating:
What did you think of it? Never Tried It
Today is World Cider Day, so we’re mixing things up and featuring our first ever cider! Homestead Cider is from Brick River Cider Co. in both St. Louis and Kansas City. It pours a cloudy, soft yellow color that looks a bit like a juicy IPA. Most ciders have a quickly receding head, as is the case here. Aroma is inviting with lots of fruit and that classic cider nose. The taste is slightly sweet, slightly acidic, and very smooth. Lots of apple flavors, but also some mild citrus accents. 5% abv. Coming from the beer drinker’s perspective, It has some similarities to a light bodied, hazy IPA, with an acidic bite. Overall, the taste is really good, and we enjoyed tasting this cider!
