La Fin Du Monde
Rating:
What did you think of it? Never Tried ItLa Fin du Monde pours a non-transparent, golden orange color with a long lasting, creamy white head. Tons of lacing is left on the glass. Aroma of Belgian yeast, fruit, and spices. Taste matches the nose, with big fruit flavors, including banana and pear, as well as spices like coriander and clove. Floral hops and a significant wheaty malt presence complement the fruit and the yeast. Mouthfeel is crisp and dry with lots of mouthcoating. Full bodied, long and smooth in the finish. Brewed in Canada, this Belgian-style Tripel does a real nice job of representing this style.

I just can't help believing that this is trying to be a Belgian beer, for its attempt it gets 3 stars, but because of it lack of polished flavors it misses the mark. A very drinkable beer, but lacks the refined quality of higher class Belgian beers.jhmiller Dec 20, 2017 at 2:05AM
Delicious. Had this years ago in my early beer drinking days, then forgot about it with all of the new beer available. But this is definitely worth going back to as the flavors are really good and particularly excellent for the style.HansKennedy30 Dec 20, 2021 at 1:12PM
This is definitely a very tasty beer. It is an excellent example of a "Belgian" Tripel but not as refined as the true Belgian versions. For another North American version that (in my opinion) is closer to the real Belgian version the Allagash Tripel comes close.Leave a Comment:
