Brasserie d'Orval
Orval Trappist Ale
Rating:
What did you think of it? Never Tried It

Orval Trappist pours a golden-orange color with a substantial amount of head and a fruity smell with a bit of pumpkin aroma. Orval has more of a bready flavor and is fairly malty for a trappist ale. It is a lighter offering for the style and is definitely an easy-drinker.

I've had a lot of Trappist beers lately and this is definitely one of the lighter ones. I agree with the pumpkin description, maybe some banana notes as well. And for sure this is bready with a mouthfeel that is powdery and yeasty.Leave a Comment:
